Bri heaney

Bri is a Gold Coast–based adventurer, freediver, and life-living enthusiast, known for her deep connection with the ocean and her passion for being comfortably uncomfortable. As a certified PADI Freedive Instructor, she brings a more holistic approach to the underwater experience, one that translates into all walks of life. Freediving for the past eight years, she's had to find her own path as a woman in the sport and is honoured to now be someone people come to for guidance, in a space where pioneers like her were once few and far between.

Polly's fascination with the ocean has followed her across continents during fifteen years of solo travel. She's a certified freediver and advanced open-water scuba diver who sees nothing more magical than the underwater world. Her story began in the UK, growing up on family boats and building competence at sea from an early age, a foundation that later led her to the Whitsundays, working as a deckhand and host, immersed in the ocean environment that has always felt like home.

Breeesea exists because of the ocean, so how we move through it matters more than anything else we do.

Wherever we take a group into the water, whales, reefs, or open ocean, we go with licensed local operators, follow the strictest regulations in that destination, and let the animal's choice always come first. No chasing, no touching, no exceptions.

Comfortably uncomfortable is more than a tagline, it's how we think about growth. This isn't a retreat built around infinity pools and curated content. It's early mornings, open water, and real physical effort, guided by certified freedivers who take safety as seriously as adventure. The ocean has a way of bringing people back to themselves, but only if you let it be a little uncomfortable first.

Every destination we host in has its own culture, customs, and rhythm. We ask every guest to dress and behave appropriately, support the local economy, and remember we're visitors in someone else's home, never the other way around.
